"The doses on the label are the doses in the chew."

Senior happens sooner than you think.

Stiffer mornings. Longer naps. Less interest in the things they used to love. Most owners notice the shift around age seven — and most don't do anything about it for another two years.

What you'll see

One chew. The three things that age fastest.

We didn't build another joint chew. We built around the three systems senior dogs lose first — and the ingredients with the strongest evidence behind them, at the doses that evidence is based on.

Mobility

Easier mornings. Stairs without hesitation. The walks they used to ask for. 3,000 mg of hydrolyzed collagen peptides — the dose the research is based on — supporting joints, tendons, and connective tissue.

Cognition

Still remembers the route. Still notices the squirrels. Still your dog. Algal DHA and bioactive milk peptides supporting brain function, focus, and mental sharpness.

Vitality

Energy after dinner. Interest in their toys. Looking like themselves. CoQ10, taurine, and vitamin E supporting cellular energy and cardiovascular function.

What's inside

Six ingredients. Each at the dose the research used.

No proprietary blends. No fairy dust. Click any ingredient to see exactly what it does, how much is in the chew, and why we picked it.

Algal omega-3 DHA cluster
CoQ10 ubiquinol crystals

Vitamin E tocopherol droplets
Hydrolyzed bovine collagen peptides Types I & III
+
3,000 mg per chew

Premium grass-fed bovine collagen, hydrolyzed into small bioavailable peptides the body recognizes as building blocks for connective tissue. Type I and Type III are the dominant collagens in tendons, ligaments, skin, and joint cartilage. Our 3,000 mg dose matches what clinical studies actually use — most senior dog supplements include a tenth of that.

Benefits
  • Supports joint comfort and mobility
  • Helps maintain tendon and ligament resilience
  • Supports skin elasticity and coat condition
  • May support post-activity recovery in active seniors
Bioactive milk peptide blend Lactoferrin + casein hydrolysate
+
200 mg per chew

A natural blend of lactoferrin and casein hydrolysate — bioactive peptides found in cow's milk that have been studied for their immune-supportive and gut-supportive properties. Sourced from grass-fed dairy. Not a synthetic peptide; the body recognizes it as food.

Benefits
  • Supports immune system function
  • Supports gut health and microbiome balance
  • May support cognitive performance in aging dogs
  • Naturally occurring, no synthetic alternatives
Algal DHA Sustainably-sourced omega-3
+
100 mg per chew

Omega-3 DHA from algae — the original source fish get it from. Algal DHA avoids the heavy metal and oxidation concerns of fish oil, has a fresher taste dogs accept easily, and arrives in a more stable form. DHA is a critical structural component of brain and retinal tissue.

Benefits
  • Supports brain function and cognition
  • Supports ocular health and visual clarity
  • Acts as an anti-inflammatory cofactor
  • Sustainably sourced — no fish required
CoQ10 Ubiquinol form, bioavailable
+
50 mg per chew

The bioavailable ubiquinol form of CoQ10 — the body uses it directly without conversion. CoQ10 is essential for mitochondrial energy production, the engine that powers every cell in the body. Natural levels decline with age in all mammals, which is why senior dogs particularly benefit from supplementation.

Benefits
  • Supports cardiovascular function
  • Supports cellular energy production
  • Acts as a powerful antioxidant
  • Helps offset age-related decline in natural CoQ10 levels
Taurine Essential amino acid
+
200 mg per chew

An amino acid critical for cardiac muscle and visual processing. Dogs typically synthesize their own taurine, but production can decline with age, certain grain-free diets, or specific breed predispositions (Cavaliers, Goldens, Newfoundlands, and Dobermans are at higher risk). Supplementation supports a baseline that the body can fall back on.

Benefits
  • Supports cardiac muscle function
  • Supports vision and retinal health
  • Supports muscle development and maintenance
  • Particularly important for at-risk breeds
Vitamin E Fat-soluble antioxidant
+
5 IU per chew

A fat-soluble antioxidant that works synergistically with the algal DHA and other actives to prevent oxidative damage. The 5 IU dose is the daily floor most veterinary nutritionists recommend for senior dogs and acts as a preservative for the omega-3s in the chew itself.

Benefits
  • Protects cell membranes from oxidative damage
  • Works as a cofactor with omega-3 fatty acids
  • Supports skin and coat health
  • Preserves the freshness of lipid-soluble ingredients
What you won't find: Artificial colors. Preservatives. Fillers. Vague "proprietary blends." Or ingredients we can't tell you the dose of.
Why Marrow

"Cooper turned twelve last spring. The week he stopped taking the stairs two at a time was the week I started building Marrow.

I read every senior dog supplement label on the shelf and found the same trick: ingredients you'd recognize, at doses ten times smaller than the studies they cite. A pinch of collagen. A whisper of CoQ10. Just enough to put the name on the label.

So we built the chew I wanted Cooper to have. Real doses. Reviewed by veterinary nutritionists. No miracle claims. Just the bioactive nutrients aging dogs actually need — at the amounts that actually do something."

"I see senior dogs every week whose owners are doing everything right and still feeding them a chew with 100 milligrams of collagen. The studies use three grams. Marrow is the first senior dog chew I've reviewed that bridges that gap honestly. No proprietary blends. No over-claiming. The doses on the label are the doses in the chew."

Questions

Everything you'd ask your vet.

What size dog is Marrow for?

Marrow is formulated for dogs aged 7 and up, of any breed. Dosing is one chew per day for dogs under 50 lbs, two chews per day for larger dogs. Specific dosing guidance ships with every bottle and is available from our team if your dog has unusual needs.

When will I see results?

Most owners report subtle changes within the first 30 days — better morning movement, more interest in walks, a brighter coat. Cumulative benefits build over 60–90 days. Marrow is a daily nutritional support, not a quick-fix medication. Consistency matters more than dose.

Is it safe with my dog's existing medications?

Marrow's ingredients are well-tolerated and have established safety profiles, but we always recommend running it past your veterinarian first — especially if your dog is on prescription medication, has kidney or liver disease, or is undergoing treatment for any condition. Bring the label to your next vet visit; we make it easy to read.

Where is Marrow made?

Marrow is manufactured in the United States, in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility that's also pursuing NASC (National Animal Supplement Council) certification. Every batch is third-party tested for purity. Certificates of analysis are available on request.

How is this different from other senior dog supplements?

Three things. First, full ingredient transparency: we publish every active and its dose, no proprietary blends. Second, real doses — most senior dog supplements include 100 mg of collagen for marketing purposes; we use 3,000 mg, the dose with actual research behind it. Third, formulated and reviewed by a board-certified veterinary nutritionist, not just a brand team.

How is this different from glucosamine?

Glucosamine targets one system — joint cartilage — and has mixed evidence in dogs. Marrow targets three systems (mobility, cognition, vitality) with five active ingredients beyond glucosamine, all at doses the actual studies use. If your dog only needs joint support and is doing well on glucosamine, keep that. If you're looking for something broader and more research-supported, that's where Marrow fits.

What if my dog doesn't like the chew?

Most dogs eat it like a treat — it's chicken-liver-flavored and single-protein, formulated for dogs with sensitivities. But if your dog refuses it or you're not satisfied for any reason in the first 60 days, we'll refund your order in full. Keep the bottle. No phone calls, no return shipping, no questions.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, anytime — through your account, no phone calls or hoops. You can also pause, skip a month, or change your delivery cadence. We also offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee on your first order.

Does Marrow extend my dog's lifespan?

No, and we won't claim that. No nutritional supplement has been proven to extend canine lifespan. What good nutrition can do — and what Marrow is designed to do — is support the systems that affect day-to-day comfort and function as dogs age. We'd rather under-promise and let your dog be the proof.
