("Marrow," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website at marrowpet.com (the "Site"), sign up for our waitlist, purchase products, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact information. When you join our waitlist, place an order, or contact customer support, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and phone number.
- Payment information. If you purchase a product, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment card details. Marrow does not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Dog information. You may voluntarily share details about your dog (name, age, weight, breed, health conditions) to receive personalized recommendations or customer support.
- Communications. Records of emails, chat messages, and support tickets you send to us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and similar diagnostic data.

Information from third parties
- Advertising platforms. When you arrive at our Site from an ad on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, TikTok, or similar platforms, we may receive limited data about the campaign and your interaction, to measure ad effectiveness.
- Service providers. Shipping carriers, customer support tools, email service providers, and analytics tools may share data with us about deliveries, support history, and engagement.

- To process and fulfill your orders, including shipping, billing, customer support, and subscription management.
- To send you updates about your account, orders, and our products, including waitlist communications, shipping notifications, and (with your consent) marketing emails.

- Service providers. Payment processors (Stripe), shipping carriers, fulfillment partners, email service providers, customer support platforms, and cloud hosting providers who need access to perform services on our behalf.
- Advertising partners. Meta, Google, TikTok, and similar platforms receive limited information to deliver and measure ads. We share data in accordance with each platform's data-sharing requirements, including hashed identifiers used for audience matching.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Marrow, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent. Any other sharing will be done only with your consent.
5. Your rights and choices
Marketing emails
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the "unsubscribe" link in any email, or by emailing us at hello@marrowpet.com. You will still receive transactional emails about your orders.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect, use, and share; (b) request deletion of your personal information; (c) opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; (d) correct inaccurate information; and (e) limit use of sensitive personal information. European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland residents (GDPR/UK GDPR)

The legal bases we rely on are: performance of a contract (orders), legitimate interests (Site operation and improvement), consent (marketing, certain cookies), and legal obligation.

6. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For example, order records are typically retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing list data is retained until you unsubscribe.

We use commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
Marrow's Site and products are intended for adults (18+) purchasing for their pets. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. International transfers
Marrow is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.
